The members of the family are Rigoberto Gonzales (father), patty (mother) their childrens are: Ariel, Ricardo, Alba, Armida, and Karina. The main conflicts of Gonzales family in the U.S are to not have legal documents, limited resources, and limited money. They migrated to the USA to have a better life and a future. Frank George is a '"Minuteman" or a man who goes to the border to arrest immigrant and take them to jail to be deported. Frank migrate from Cuba legally at his seven years. His toughts of immigrants people are that they shouldn't be here because they are breaking the law and are taking the jobs of American people.
Patty Gonzales dare Frank to live with them for 30 days, so he could experience the immigrant life style.Their house is an small apartment for eight people it was not a very good environment to live. Frank As a result, Frank came to live with the Gonzales family the arranged time as an illegal immigrant, he didn't have a card or documents and money anymore. Frank worked hard everyday as a handy man to have some money to survive. As well as Rigoberto. One day while eating dinner Frank started to talk how immigrants people don't belong to U.S and are breaking the rulers and that they are taking the jobs away from Americans. Rigoberto answered he know that they are breaking rulers, but that they do not have another alternative because it is either to break laws or to die from starvation in Mexico with his family. Also that Rigoberto told him that immigrants were not taking jobs away from anybody because whatever their job are, Americans don't like to do it and if they do they will charge more money.
To continue, the Gonzales children's are hard worker students they have a huge incentive to be successful in school as a their daily lives. Armida who is in her senior year in high school with a GPA of 4.0 is hopeful to be accepted at her favorite university. with her excellent characteristics she won Frank's affection, which let him see how capable she is.
The Gonzales family have limited money for their needs because Rigoberto is who works to support his family, but he only earns 15,000 per year with is not enough. Through out the days Frank opinions about immigrant people changed because he could see and experience how difficult life is in the U.S without documents. Also, they are here to work and to save their families they are not criminals. Lastly, Frank stop going to the border to stop immigrants. Even though, he was still part of the group.
